A good education provides a person with a strong foothold in the competitive world. SLSS is doing its best and is progressing each year with a lot of achievements under its hat. Our Story
Shahid Lt. Selim Shikshalaya is Established on 01 September 1979. The School is located at madhubagh, Moghbazar, PS. Ramna, Dhaka-1217. It has already earned much popularity in the locality with its quality education and extra-curricular activities. The School comprises of Bengali Medium Section and English Medium & Version Section. Both sections are run in two shifts-Morning Shift starting from 8:00 A.M. and Day Shift starting from 11:00 A.M. Now, about 700(Seven hundred) students are studying here and 55 (Fifty five) highly educated, experienced and efficient teachers are engaged in teaching. Besides this, 20 (twenty) skilled officials and other staffs are rendering services to perform the activities and other jobs of the school smoothly. The results of all exams.especially P.S.C, J.S.C & S.S.C. exams. are always satisfactory. school has already achieved its name and fame in the field of different cultural activities. Every year all programs and Days are observed nationally and internationally & are held here with great importance and due respect by the participation of teachers, students, guardians & the elite people of the society. All the events and functions organized by the school become so successful and colourful with the presence of country’s leading personalities.
